Marie’s management expertise and background, combined with her knowledge of QuickBooks software, create a dynamic skill set for her consulting clients.  She helps you create efficient, accurate, and easy-to-use accounting systems, and customizes QuickBooks so you can use your reports to make wise decisions.

Marie earned her Master in Business Administration from UNR, while working in Commercial Leasing and Property Management. She gained first-hand knowledge of non-profit organizations working for the Junior League of Reno for over seven years while managing the Arlington Gardens Mall.  She has since owned retail and consulting businesses and is a business leader conducting workshops in business and accounting.

She has served as a Board Member and worked as the Rural Nevada Community Development Officer for Nevada Microenterprise Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to helping people start and expand small businesses.  She is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, a member of Intuit’s Writer and Speaker Network and has conducted numerous QuickBooks workshops throughout Nevada for Nevada’s Small Business Development Centers.  Additionally, she is a certified NxLevel instructor helping business owners with business planning and feasibility analysis.

Marie comes from a ranching family in northern California, and has degrees in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Renewable Resources, Business Administration and continues to take classes in Educational Leadership.  Marie’s strong belief in continuing education has motivated her to expand her business offering a number of online self-study services including remote access capabilities, tele-seminars and free downloads.
