People often comment on how much I get accomplished during a day–enough times through the years, that I’ve become aware that I might work a bit differently than some of you. I work in batches–and often for 15 minutes at a time. I acquired the skill naturally, and honed it when Meggin McIntosh, The Productivity Coach, helped her clients polish the practice. Have you ever had something that absolutely has to be done, and for some reason you just keep putting it off; maybe finding more enjoyable activities (work and personal)?! Yes…me too! I’ll set a timer for 15 minutes…and sandwich or “batch” an enjoyable task with one that’s not my favorite. Watch here:
